Today, the missing one of the batch of 9 Megabuses allocated was noted at Skegness whilst working the 1444hs service to Boston, namely 52619 (S459 BCE):

MCN

This weekend Butlins hosted the second MCN (Motorcycle News) event this year (we featured the first in April please click here). As with the April event, there was much to be seen and also some stunt riding, interestingly using four wheels as well as two! Some photos from the last show this afternoon can be seen below:

An unusual visitor at Skegness coach park today was Longstaff (of Morpeth) Neoplan Starliner YR02 UMS on a day trip from Grimsby where the tourists are based at the St James Hotel

Adding to the list of Megabus vehicles published in this blog yesterday is 52643 (T663 OBD), leaving just one vehicle still to be identified.
Around 150 people turned up for the first scheduled rail replacement service from Skegness today at 1342 necessitating the use of three vehicles, 52623, 52618 and 52643

New Sunday Service

From 1st November a Sunday service will be introduced on the Interconnect 5 route between Spalding, Boston and Lincoln.

The service will be operated by Brylaine travel and will initially operate on a three month trial basis.
