Butlins at Ingoldmells plays host to the Motorcycle News event this weekend, which draws thousands of enthusiasts from all over the country. Along with trade stands, shows and suchlike, were some impressive displays of stunt riding performed by Dave Wiggins and Gary Taylor, the latter being the only UK rider to have completed a motorcycle backflip.

Bellamy

Bellamys summer 200 Service between Nottingham and Mablethorpe commenced on the 3rd April and runs to & including 9th October, and this year operates daily.

Bellamy's S45 KSM is a regular performer on the service 200 and is seen at Chapel St Leonards bus station this afternoon

Open Top

Open top operation at Skegness commenced with the Low Season timetable on 6th April. 15934, which last year ran as a closed top, has now been converted to open top replacing 15956 which is withdrawn due to bodywork deterioration, and currently resides in a corner of the depot gradually being dismantled of all re-usable parts.

The operational open top fleet at Skegness is as follows:

Low Season Timetable

Stagecoach's Low Season timetable for Skegness became operative from today and is effective until (and including) 24th May. The main changes are:

1 (Skegness - Chapel Point): Operates every 20 minutes
1A (Skegness - Ingoldmells Bus Station) Operates every 20 minutes
3 (Skegness - Anchor Lane): Operates every 10 minutes.

One significant difference to last summer is that service 3's now operate further along Anchor LAne and terminate at the approach road to Hardy's Animal Farm
