Skegness Air Taxis
A very rare photo turned up in my archive of GXD 640, a Bedford OB which originated from the London area. The service ran from Skegness to the air strip near Butlins in Ingoldmells. The photo illustrates the vehicle in summer 1963 whilst at the Scarborough Avenue terminus in Skegness. The air strip itself closed 16 years ago.
