Route Learning

From 3rd October until 1st November, the trains service between Skegness and Boston will be suspended whilst engineering work (involving substantial track renewal) takes place. Bus replacements will be used during the period to connect with trains at Boston. This will bring a number of engineering trains to Skegness and yesterday saw the first of the driver familiarisation runs taking place from Toton to Skegness, in this instance using 66170. The locomotive remained overnight and is illustrated below this morning where it was stabled at the top end of platform 4.
