Funk Bus

Not a PCV, but still of interesting is the Funk Bus (FX08 PGZ), noted today at Chapel St Leonards. It's owned by the East Lindsey District Council who describe it as follows:

Inspired by this challenge, a state-of-the-art new mobile youth vehicle ‘Funk-Bus’ has been created with input from young people working alongside us.

The Funk-Bus will tour 24 rural and isolated communities in the area, delivering a range of ‘play’ experiences for 11 to 19 year olds. Teenagers from across East Lindsey shared their views on what they wanted to see on the finished bus and, as a result, the latest computers and interactive equipment are being installed, along with more traditional games and creative resources.

The Funk-Bus will contain the following equipment;

  • Play Station 3
  • Xbox 360
  • Nintendo Wii
  • Wii Fit Dance mat
  • 32 inch plasma TV
  • Two 26 inch plasma TVs
  • Free view TV
  • PC with Internet access
  • Music juke box
  • Arts corner
